During the years that I was freaked, I often woke up and felt "ghosts" aound my bed and stuff though...felt one shagging me one day, another lying next to me, loads just standing over me - it went on for years man. But I reckon it was just (again) my brain messing with me.
I was scared, and my brain wouldn't let go of the spooky thoughts.

It was all just nonsense though.
see, thats what I mean
plenty of ghosts trying to shag you, how could it not be true
Yous are going to think I have a story for every occasion, and really I dont....but on this subject I have.
(...although saying that, I've long since rationalised it as just being wierd brain activity.)
The night before my 18th birthday I woke up at 3:30 during the night and was unable to move. Completely paralysed.
The corner of my room went green, I smelled a horrible sick smell, and a really deep voice said "you're going to meet the devil".
For obvious reasons I nearly crapped myself. I couldn't move at all, so I couldn't even bang on the wall to try and wake my folks up. All I could do was hum...so I hummed as loud as I could, and then all of a sudden it all went - no green, no smell, and I could move my body.
I got out of bed, put the light on, and sat up until the rest of my family got up. I had no "waking up" sensation. I couldn't sleep for weeks after, and was never really the same for the next couple of years.
The really spooky bit was, the night before my 21st (in Tenerife) the exact same thing happened!!!! I was even sharing a bed with my mate at the time.
Anyway...I was freaked for years...then I saw a programme on the tv about it. Its pretty common apparently - it's the different parts of the brain "waking up" before the other parts.
I now put all of this "mystical" sh*te down to the same thing. I dont believe in anything spooky, other wordly, or anything like that anymore.
But have fun
Similar thing happened to me too. It's called Sleep Paralysis.
I had weird experiences in a condo I had rented when I was working in the US. Now and again I would half see a dark shape at the foot of the bed. The air conditioning thermostat would change by itself; well neither of us could remember changing it. Sometimes when on my own working on my computer I would feel someone walk past behind me, but I ended up, sort of, putting that down to the air conditioning. Few other odd things like things not being where you thought we had left them.
I have never believed these things before, even if they make good stories. Nothing like this has happened since. I still don’t know what to believe.
In all seriousness, if I thought I was seeing ghosts, etc., I'd pop along to the doctor, and arrange for a CAT scan.
When I was 18 I decided it was time to get my life sorted so I went off to join the army.
It was tough leaving home, saying goodbye to my folks, my ageing nan but most of all Tiddles, my pet hedgehog. I had found Tiddles one Christmas in the back garden,in the snow, a tiny little ball of snout and prickles being hassled by a neighbours dog. I brought him in, fed him on warm milk and bread and somehow managed to keep the little tyke alive. We became best friends, me bouncing around the garden on my space hopper, and him by the rockery eating worms.
After 3 years serving in foreign climes I was called in to see the CO. 'Bad news from home corporal EO'.
It was nan, she was in hospital and I had one weeks compassionate leave.
As I got off the train I realised that I did not recognise the area, it had changed completely and although it was pitch black I managed to make out a sign 'Dam under contruction - Danger - 1000 foot drop'
As I edged my way forward I heard a familiar snuffling sound. Tiddles !!!!
The little beauty must have used his sixth sense to know I was in danger and he came to rescue me !! Slowly he led me past the dam works, past the dangerous drops and home. My folks were ecstatic 'But how did you get past the dam workings in the dark ?'
I looked down to stroke tiddles but he was gone. 'It was tiddles - he guided me through, without him I would have died'
My parents looked ashen 'But tiddles died a year ago'
spooky or what
