Fox

We had a BBQ at my girlfriends parents and her brother put some old chicken out for the fox, we watched it from the patio doors come out to scoff all this meat. He then went out, lay down on the grass and put the plate on his belly...the fox came out and took the chicken...he was very still though...and very scared!!!

My uncle used to have a fox that he put food out for in his back garden - it was his pet fox and 'stayed' with him for years.
My grandfather had a pet fox, that even came in the house. When it died he had it stuffed and stood it on top of the wardrobe.

Urban foxes are good for rat control. Country foxes are good for rabbit control.

However they are killing machines however cute they look. A fox in a field of lambs (yes cute little lambs) will kill every single one of them and then take one to feed on. This is why farmers hate them so much.

A while ago some misguided animal rights type people rounded some city foxes up from Nottingham and the let them loose near Sleaford in the middle of the fens. Thoose foxes were ever so grateful that they could roam in the place of their ancestors while they starved to death due to lack of bins and rats.

The farmer shot them in the end to put them out of their misery.

I've often seen foxes in the middle of London, including at the end of my street (10 minutes walk west from Tower Bridge on the North side of the river)
By my calculations you live under London Bridge. That's not your garage, that's a service duct for the Northern Line.

I claim my £5.

Rubbish!
It's not vermin control.
When I go out with my ferrets and my shotgun, it's to fill my freezer with juicy rabbit & lovely pigeon breasts. and if I bag a pheasant all the better.
Don't shoot foxes though. can't eat it, why shoot it!

Does your fox have a name?

Was it girl fox?
Samantha
Martha Lane

Or a boy fox:
Michael J
Liam
Basil Brush (he was a fox wasn't he?)

My mistake, I should have said 10 minutes walk East of Tower bridge on the North side of the river.
