The Foreign Office used to do checks via their contacts abroad for the DVA for any overseas info. The DVA had a row with the foreign office over how much it should be paying for these foreign checks.
The upshot was the FO told the DVA to FO so the DVA can no longer do foreign checks.
The chap at customer services for the DVA says this should not be a problem for EU citizens who have worked on flagshp projects within the EU, but if you have been outside then they cant trace you.
I suspect you may be a victim of this problem.
I would like to see the PCG do something about that!I am not qualified to give the above advice!
