    Damn that was quick!

I think I may just have broke all contracting records for speed of interiew to work!

Went for an interview basically just add hoc work. Client not too fussed if you have other work on at the time as long as work gets done by set time.

Went for the interview thought it went pretty tulipe to be fair. Wasnt expecting to hear from them again.

Got home, checked e-mails to find one from the client waiting for me.

"Dear Richard, please find attached some work. We think should be about 5 days @ requested rate".

Sent 53 minutes after leaving the interview. Did I say I was good.

5 days seems fair. I'll probably take me 3 or so (not being big headed I just work faster than most people).

Kids today, they think they've seen it all

Interview in client's office. Client's conclusion: "when can you start?"

Me: "right away" (thinking tomorrow, I admit).

Client: "OK, I'll show you to your desk".

            Fine fine...spoil my fun.

            * starts thinking of a way to enter an interview with "we're looking for a person to implement this project" .... "oh, I finished that for you last week".

My version of that was an interview on a Friday afternoon where I agreed to start on the Monday. Someone popped into the office and announced a crisis on a different project, 10 minutes later I had a desk, account, and was working through the weekend.

No agency involved and the client paid on the nail

                Bloody amatuers...

                Phone rings...

                I answer...

They say..."we have something for you and given your experience and reputation there is no need for an interview...they want a report on the current market trends of the industry by this evening, is this something you can accomodate?"...

                I say..."no problem...usual commercials?"

                They say..."yes"...

I say..."excellent, will be in touch with report later"

Luckily I had written a report on the same thing only 2 weeks earlier which I was going to put on my website, so no work, cash in bank, and the result of the report is that I signed up to work with them for the rest of the year from the moment my current gig ends...

                Sweet!

                Interviews...for girls only!

Sorry sockpuppet...although as girls go, you are right up there with this performance!

...and before he went to bed, Vito discovered a cure for cancer, gave a blind man sight and turned water into wine.

5 minutes (and only because another agent called to offer work when I walked out of interview).

Fastest offer came at the start of the interview! Not so sure anyone can beat 0 minutes!
