Just don't start your Harry Potter for night time reading, with only 70 days or so of light you might not finish it in time...

"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -
Laugh - if you can - but its insights like these that give rise to innovations - for example - a black light-bulb which helps to darken bright rooms.Originally posted by realityhackI give up.Comment

Einstein said that the speed of light is the ultimate speed in the universe. I’ve often wondered what the speed of dark might be…"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Depends what you mean by speed. Einstein was wrong in many respects, but got some interesting results, if for the wrong reasons. You'll catch on eventually.Originally posted by scooterscotEinstein said that the speed of light is the ultimate speed in the universe.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

From Mort, by Terry Pratchett.
"The only things known to go faster than ordinary light is monarchy,
according to the philosopher Ly Tin Weedle. He reasoned like this: you
can't have more than one king, and tradition demands that there is no gap
between kings, so when a king dies the succession must therefore pass to
the heir *instantaneously*. Presumably, he said, there must be some
elementary particles -- kingons, or possibly queons -- that do this job,
but of course succession sometimes fails if, in mid-flight, they strike an
anti-particle, or republicon. His ambitious plans to use his discovery to
send messages, involving the careful torturing of a small king in order to
modulate the signal, were never fully expanded because, at that point, the
bar closed.""Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment
