SA - I know how you feel but don't lets lose one of the nicest characters on the board eh? If you've made up your mind then fair play - it'd be a shame to see you go.

Look - don't let offensive comments bug you, as people are free to hold whatever opinion they like, and part of the reason I like CUK is that they can freely express it. Sometimes people go over the mark, eh Jawz? But we tend to keep each other in check - I think the mods do a good job - it's too easy to over-moderate, much harder to get the balance right.

Re the gay books thread - it's refreshing to see the debate, some people have impassioned statements to make. The 'robust discussion' is quality stuff and should be encouraged - chucking sustained abuse at each other should be frowned upon IMHO - apart from making you feel like this it detracts from the quality of the discussion.

Personally I like this - the anonymity stops people from being nauseatingly PC and they say what they feel. You will get pinkos and right wing loons - but that's freedom of speech, and that's excellent.
