    Consumer Confidence

    https://www.theguardian.com/business...cost-of-living

I'm confident we've got the most expensive electricity in the world which is well on its way to becoming less reliable than it was 30 years ago.

Wish I'd bought some windmill shares. .

They're things that those who were not fortunate enough to engage early with contracting must endure. It's how the government forces young people to become debt slaves to the corporations.

I'm looking to "invest" in a solar / battery system. The payback isn't as good as I'd like, but off-line capability is looking increasingly like a good idea and I don't see any downward pressure on costs. Return on this investment is also tax free.

Even when new nuclear comes on line, it's far from low cost. Almost everything in the electricity 'market' is distorted by policy costs.
