It's been a while

I'm still here scratching away to get money to buy food

From what I can see, in the dot net area, contracting ain't gonna end in my life time

Milan.

I’ve semi retired now, im doing work with local businesses. Couldn’t face dotnet work with companies any more.

Im using ai now for everything so im into all kinds of things.

Developing various micro income streams here - mostly tech stuff but a couple of things in the food and drink space.

I've done a few pitmaster courses & I've found my services to be in demand - I basically tip up with all the kit and do a bbq for your party.

Hard work and not great money but good fun & loads of free booze always comes my way :-).

Sounds great, life is too short.

I’m looking to sort out an outside kitchen. Nothing too impressive, just a decent gas bbq to go with my weber and pizza oven. Any recommendations?

Darn. Failed again. ;)

Welcome back. :)

Thank you Nat. Im older and definitely non the wiser. Good to be back and I can even recognise one or two names.

Im in the highlands now, currently watching the rain over the Kyle of Sutherland, getting a bit dark now though.

What you up to?

Still in Switzerland. Learning some new technologies (SAP CAP framework). 27°C today and sunny. But it's been considerably hotter than that in the last few weeks. Most uncomfortable. We have a BBQ ban due to fire risk.

I use a local variant of one of these for slow cooking brisket etc then just use the built in brick affair that everyone has in their gardens for doing steaks, chicken, corn etc.

I'm yet to come across a gas bbq - it's charcoal all the way here.

HWMBO bought a Kamado Joe a few years ago. Took a while to get used to it but it has options for rotisserie, pizza stones, etc. He seems happy with it.
