gov.uk websites are generally pretty good so, if this app turns out to be as good, I'll probably use it.

I use websites, just not on a 'phone.
I hate using a phone for anything other than Phoning/texting*.
I also don't trust their security, and HATE the fact that apps don't terminate when told to and try to decide what i want and when.
spotty little oik webdevs do NOT make my decisions for me.

*don't like trying to communicate on a piddly little keyboard either.

rant over, move along, nothing to see here etc.............

Maybe I'm an old git too but I mostly agree. Why does something need to be an "app" when a web app that is more sandboxed would do?

I don't have many apps on my phone but I do occasionally install things that are useful like RingGo for parking and so on. Am I going to install a government sponsored app on my phone and live with the potential for it to spy on me in ways that I would prefer my government did not? No way in hell.

Suity, of course, unless you're saying that you have the reverse Midas touch as well?

I'm not liking the new GOV UK header banner. Looks cheap.
