    Damn that's a lot of contractors going PAYE

    Seriously, that's a massive increase in payrolled employees vs pre covid, which imho isn't sustainable with the current economic situation.

      One assumes that our umpteen thousand illegal immigrants who've been entering the country over the past few years aren't included in any of those figures but are still a drain on our economy and resources...

        how dare you say that about our flow of brain surgeons.

        Don't you know we need these immigrants to pay for our old age. Unless we all move to Spain etc because we have to pay for them!
