The only driver of the stock market will be QE to infinity which will drive another boom via share buybacks. Or even direct FED buying the stock market with infinite printed cash.Originally posted by Hobosapien View PostDead bat bounce.
Without something akin to a miracle (early vaccine or somehow containment and erradication of the virus) we are only at the start of the global economic impact.
I am waiting to see the recent lows tested again first....Comment

Depends if the magic money tree is used to bailout the big players in the main stock markets. If not then current share holdings may become worthless as companies drop out of the FTSE and are replaced with others making out like pirates (e.g. PPE companies or makers of certain endorsed 'virus battling' drugs), or mergers buy out shares for cents in the dollar.
Also if they print their way out then the share price may look high in monetary terms but won't look so good against physical assets. We'll see if bitcoin really has the ability to become digital gold. So far it's wishful thinking by those hodling it.
For investments to succeed you need to be on the right side of the trade. Are you feeling lucky punk?
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.Comment
