    Although this is indeed the institution that had its backbone politically removed by liebour a few years ago to allow the sycophantic ramblings from Nick Robinson to spout his "push me-pull you" political diatribe, I believe the word you were grasping for was BCC (blind carbon copy)?
    If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

      well do a reply to all stating the job has been filled and to ignore any other emails. You stand a chance then.
      I am not qualified to give the above advice!

      Step back, have a think and adjust my own own attitude from time to time

        Reply-to-all asking them for the names and contact details of managers for all contracts in the last 12 months.

        Then ring them up and bag yourself a direct contract.

            That’s the sort of mischief that I would not be able to resist. Change the from and reply address, use a proxy server, etc. Sorry, I would just have to do it.

              As I dont really want the job I think this might be the best idea.

              Need ideas...

              * Job has gone
              * Agency has closed

              any more...

                What I would do is resend it with an increased rate. That should tempt a few people to call in. Then increase the rate and resend stating that the role is urgent and that all the candidates so far have been "bollocks" - thus ensuring that those who have already called get an email implying that they are rubbish. Keep increasing the rate and slagging off all those who have already called in.

                Also remember to keep us informed!
                Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                I preferred version 1!
