I've given up........

Nice one Denny.

I gave up last July - but I've lapsed a few times before and around xmas. Using gum has probably prolonged my withdrawal - but I don't want to kill any innocent passers by or the client. Maybe I'll take a holiday to give up the gum.

come on take out a ciggy . you know you want it :cool1:

Denny...

How does this affect your IR35 status? Do you need to get this checked by B&C?

LOL! It means that I can afford to be inside IR35 occasionally, now that my fag money can be sent straight to Gordo. :o

Giving up smoking is clearly designed for tax avoidance and so is not 'fair'. :spank:

I read Alan Carr's book and the same week he died. I might start reading Jeffrey Archer now.

It was great for work avoidance too. I'm going to have to bill for all those extra 5 min slots I used to allocate for smoking :D

One more on the line. Cutting down to 10 this week, hopefully to 5 next and 0 in 2-3 weeks.

Smoking is silly. It's a drug and that should be a reason enough not to do it.

It's great though isn't it? If only it didn't give you cancer.

Try the gum, it does work

If only didn't make you addictive. You could smoke when you enjoy it. Which is sometimes pleasant. Unfortunately, that's not the way it works. If you were not forced to regularly smoke a packet a day the risk of cancer will be negligible.
