There are tons of worse comments that that which get posted.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

There have not been many posts that went on for that length of time and with such venom in them too. The posters say they were only messing but such vitriol does not give a nice atmosphere and I would rather laugh and smile at posts than cringe.
Very recently the banter has got a bit too personal and this cannot continue. Lucy's Xmas post has brought it to a head and EO spoke out of line (baiting scotspine) and got a slap because of it. Fair enough in my opinion.
I am happy to re-instate EO if we hear from him and he plays nicely but I do feel scotspine was right to ban him but if quite a few here posted worse comments than EO so in fairness we should kick a load of you...
I will say again that we want this place to be a warm and welcoming place for contractors, if the front page is full of people attacking each other then it kind of puts the n00bs of - and you wonder why we have so many lurkers compared to registered users? Without newbies who would we laugh at?
A little bit of baiting, inappropriate comments etc are what make this board what it is and why we let a lot of things stand. We do not want to harshly moderate this place as it is a really fun place to be and I spit more coffee over my keyboard in laughter and surprise due to this place than anywhere else and would like it to stay that way.
Concerning the comments about Chico, we let him stay as he encourages conversation and whether you agree with him or not he has a right to be heard (has no-one spotted his posting status yet though?)Comment

OK, EqualOpportunities is back on the forum. Play nicely now... I almost posted that things only turned nasty when the ladies turned up but it is not their fault that you lot go silly in the presence of the fairer sex.
