That's a classic buy signal.Originally posted by AtW View PostThis thread is getting fewer and fewer messages, the scam is about to end?
Since you asked, the classic sell signal (for me) comes when friends and family ask:
"Hey dude, where can I buy this BTC everyone is talking about?!""Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Latest SEC decision on a bitcoin ETF been delayed to end of September. Others delayed since January, continually being pushed back.
It's like they are teasing the investors to pile in due to anticipation, then cause a sell off when they stick their tongue out and say they'll have to wait. I'm sure none of the SEC decision makers have any vested interests to pump and dump it like that.
Hope the price of bitcoin does retract towards this year's low. Each time it does that I add another bag onto the train to the moon. I can hodl as long as it takes. :
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.Comment

news = sell, that's all the ETF news did. There's no institutional money in the system yet. And that'll not happen until a custodian for holding BTC is put in place. One has now been selected, which is awesome.
ETF + custodian needs to happen for BTC run to start. But that alone will not push the market up super massive. The task is down to the stock market correcting big time. Sometime before Christmas.
Don't bother focusing on $ value of BTC, watching you BTC number instead. I'm surprised my total number of BTCs has only halved since the beginning of the year. $ value of BTC has more than halved."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". I have only a small amount in any of the alts, so the £ to BTC is the price I'm more interested in while £s are required to buy most things in the UK.
1 BTC will always be worth 1 BTC.

Maybe they've heard of a new bitcoin ATM and want to know where it is. First bitcoin ATM just installed in Devon.
So public take up may not necessarily be a reason to sell. Someone's got to supply the demand when it ramps up to a price worth selling.

should have said the total portfolio BTC value has only halved, which is much less than BTC/$ high.Originally posted by Hobosapien View PostI have only a small amount in any of the alts, so the £ to BTC is the price I'm more interested in while £s are required to buy most things in the UK.
