My 1200eur has arrived in kraken, sent it at 10am this morning as a sepa transfer from revolut and its already there, surprised its that quick.
Ok, bitcoin is priced heavy at the moment I think im gonna wait for a pullback.
Is it ok to leave the cash in kraken or should I convert it for some other coin then withdraw to a wallet?
Thanks in advance, appreciate it.Comment

I didn't have any issues with Kraken and the storage of money.
The only issue I had with it (and this is the reason I moved to Bittrex) is that it very often struggles in periods of high activity and you can miss trades or have to try multiple times to get something throughYour friendly neighbourhood VirtualMonkey - Not giving financial advice since...well...ever.Comment

What sort of fees do you pay with buying bitcoin through Kraken? I've been buying through Gdax using Euro SEPA transfer. No fees as such but effectively a fee with the buy price I guess.Comment

They have a % charge for both maker and taker, so not free like gdax if you do a pending order. But the price against bitcoin is about £100 cheaper last time I looked, so to me it seemed cheaper overall.Comment
