    TOTP

Just saw some old ones, apparently its not on TV any more, never knew that. Brings back memories, Thursday evening after tea:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Yes, we always used to think of it as required viewing but half-rubbish. I was surprised years later when I moved to France to find it described as "the legendary British programme". Like many things, especially in popular music, it was rubbish, but much better than anything else.

I well remember seeing Hendrix doing Hey Joe, Cream doing I Feel Free, and The Nice doing America on TOTP. It wasn't all rubbish.

Savile was though, you could see through him even then.

Seeing as most of the old presenters are now in jail, there aren't that many that they can show.

My mate wouldn't leave the house to go to football training until Pan's People had been on. No-one had a VCR in those days

I met Babs a couple of years ago with her husband Robert Powell at the Edinburgh Festival.

Nah they just got someone to edit the paedos out of old episodes, must have kept them on overtime for quite a while I'd imagine
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Not that easy to cover up for the Jimmy Savile appearances which seemed to be rather frequent.
