    Work wanted.....

Anyone know of any AS400 contracts going out there. OK stop laughing - people DO still use them......

Been here 6 months, but the works dried up, and for some reason they don't want to keep paying me to do nothing

Failing that - any ideas on how to get into .NET? I've done a course on C#.NET, and it seems a bit of a doddle, but a course doesn't count for anything in the real world.

Try IFDS in Basildon, if location suites of course. AS400 is their main bag.

If only you'd posted a couple of days ago, there was an opportunity going where I'm contracting at the moment. Bad luck on your timing...

Try Citibank. The margins are only 5% so most sh*te agencies (except mine ) will be dealing with them
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

                Thanks DA

Citibank - I used to have an account with them when I worked in Chicago. The banking service was good - unfortunately their careers website cr@ps out with a javascript error!
