None of them actually. I used to support Rangers, but gave up when, due to the number of foreigners, I found I couldn't pronounce a single name on the team sheet.Comment

Darren,
Find similar sites that Newcastle fans might visit and offer reciprocal Links to them.
Why not write a Press release about your site and give it to the football club and the fanzines. An article about Newcastle might get published in the fanzines as well.Comment

The only way that you are going to drive traffic to your site for little or no cost is links from other sites. The more links you have over the web from different sites the better you will feature in the search results.
Buy for a small amount a multi submit piece of software called submitwolf. It submits you site to thousands of websites in one click and also to link sites.
Website - Make sure that the first page on your site feature metatags. It also needs to have content which includes alot of the keywords that people will search for eg. Newcastle
Another tip is to name all of your images as keywords you wish to use as this will help with site listings on search engines.
I hope this of some help
i have followed similar tasks for www.prosperity4.comComment
