Just received the paper work for a new 5 month contract with an old client.
Slightly better money than what I left on too!

Was on the bench for just over 5 months, so I'm pretty relieved as the warchest took a bit of a beating.

Not only did I get a new contract but I also got offered another one that I thought I'd totally messed up at interview.

Sneaky gits tho' decided to change it from a normal contract to the dreaded Fixed Term Contract so I was happy to decline and take the better paid role.

No interview needed thankfully. Agent just happened to be having lunch with the boss and mentioned I was available and that was that.

Not sure I have any advice worth listening to but I will say that there does seem to be an upbeat feeling in the place and they are busy converting every available square foot of office into desk space for new arrivals (not all IT but still a good sign).
