Hi, I’m new to this forum, so please bear with me. I have been a permie and contractor for the same group of companies for 8 years. The last 4 years teleworking from home, and the last 18 months teleworking from home in France. Various roles, DB re-orgs, Helpdesk support – logging resolving tickets, and another role was to track back and capitalise $30m of Fixed Assets. I am currently looking for another contract. I am 100% reliable as a teleworker, am visible online, and the work I do is measurable. I come with excellent references, and was considered to be a low cost valuable resource (until their budget ran out). Question ? Am I deluding myself that I will be able to get similar teleworking contracts in the future ?

I can't speak for your field of work, but I know that offsite work through agencies in my field of work is very difficult to get. I've had considerably more success in getting the client to agree offsite work where I'm dealing directly with them, rather than through an agency. -
