    Fix protocol training

    New member to this forum.

My contract will finish Sep end (no funds for extension). I am into C++ and would like to apply for contract roles in finance sector (no prior exp in finance/banking). It is difficult without prior experience in similar roles. However, there are few companies who do not mandate finance knowledge(but a bonus to have). I am thinking of enrolling for FIX protocol training. Any recommendations/suggestions from experienced contractors in finance/banking sector ?

Do what every other contractor has done, go permie get in and trained up then jump back on the gravy train again after a year or so HTH.

I am thinking about this as well. Also about getting SC clearance.

Anything to increase the bottom line...
Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

Currently 10+ contracts available in your area

And SC helps how? Rather decreases it, since never much WFH with cleared roles...
