    Defectors

'Thousands of Tory party members' to defect to Nigel Farage's Brexit Party as it gets official approval

Thousands of Conservative members are likely to defect to a new Brexit party which was today officially recognised by the electoral regulator, its backers claim.

The Electoral Commission on Friday formally recognised the Brexit Party as an official organisation which will allow it to field candidates at elections.

Nigel Farage, the former Ukip leader who is supporting the party, said "the engine is running" and he stood "ready for battle" to fight the Tories and Labour of the European Parliament elections are held.

Political space for a new anti-EU party has been created by the lurch to the right by the UK Independence Party, which has been adopting more strident anti-Muslim policies.

Great stuff, please do it Farage - what this country needs is split of Labour/Tory parties as it's the only way we'll get to a democratic proportional representation.

In 2015 UKIP got 12% of vote which should have got them 83 seats in HoC. They got 1.

There was a referendum on AVP in 2011. It was rejected. Or should we keep voting on AVP until the correct result is obtained?

The Conservatives are pushing hard to fill that space on the right, might not be enough room for Farage.

It has a right to live. Just not a right to be revived. Dignitas for squirrels.

            Conservatives are doing nothing.

Labour voters are starting to realise Grampa is a raging nutter.
