Anyone used this?
I need my web farm to connect to various wcf services over ssl. It took me a good day to work out the config changes to do this. However I am loathed to go around each dev pc and install client certificates to emulate the deployed scenario, therefore I would like to run over http druing development and switch to https in qa/live. I am having issues working out how to easily switch between the two environments without a whole host of config changes. Has anyone come across this?

I'd go for the client certificates option. Pain to setup, but once done, you don't have to worry about the config changes or any other subtle differences you might find. Should make deployment between dev and test easier.

IMHO

Agreed. Save yourself some time in the future and dev as close to test/live as you can. We all know what happens when you don't. 3 hours of bug hunting for a five minute fix when a proper dev/test environment would have prevented it.
