NAS recommendations

Bought a Synology DS1010+ and 5 x 2TB Samsung last month.
Also purchased SyncbackSE to do the backups.

Works a treat!

Currently in RAID 5, but may convert to Raid 5 + hot-spare, as the amount of free space I have now (after backing up an iMac & 3 Windows laptops) is a little embarrassing!

Also have it plugged into an APC UPS (ES 550 I think), as out electrics trip out occasionally.

Out of interest is anyone using their NAS for VMWare e.g. via iSCSI or just having the files on the NAS?
