Did you mean the fountains you can walk about in CM? I think we saw two such places, one was massive. Could try to find out for the OP if interested?

We ate here one night, quite fun and nice food and I think it was unlimited booze although it's not that cheap: Grand Seafood Buffet

Getting to Atlantis using the Palm Metro is easy and cheapish, worth it IMO.

you can do a day trip to the Burj, they sell visitor tickets.

well worth it for the view and the inside artificial geyser.

Plus the fish tank restaurant.

whoever designed the sky bar was seriously sixties obsessed.

If you know someone that is staying there you can visit as guests.

Oh I remember. Very nice - get there early and eat at a restaurant but it gets very crowded for the shows.

I think I was thinking of a plaza in the vicinity with rows of small fountains which you can run around in/through.

Didn't read all the threads. Did anyone mention Wadi Bashing out in the desert? Great fun for all I think. They often end at a camp where there is a bite to eat and some entertainment/stalls as well.
