What's wrong with electric heaters? They can be powered by "green" power. No reason to ban them at all.

I was in the ultra-green, PC, EU enthousiast, progressive paradise of the Bundes Republiek Deustchland at the weekend and having driven 200kph to get there I saw enough patio heaters on the streets of Dusseldorf to heat all of western Europe's houses through a long cold winter.

Shouldn't the western world be surrounding Qatar with gunships and asking them WTF are they up to?
