So it's ironic that this Diwali festival occurs on Guy Fawkes night!
It was yesterday. We had a load of kerfuffle on the village FB group "what are these ****s doing setting off fireworks a day early, so late at night [9pm], my poor fur-baby is literally crying" all a little unpleasant. Turned out a pleasant family was happily celebrating Diwali - even invited their neighbours to join them, rather than drunken chavs.
