West 28th Street Limited

Isn't it funny how all the the "next round" of letters are sent out the day after the previous "deadline" to reply. All the bulk letters have been sent from a fulfilment centre, not an office of Trethowans, West 28th or Ethica, and look as if they were all ready to be sent.

So lets just say some clown did go and go for a debt they don't owe on the October 27th, you can bet your last £ that they would still have received the Claim letter, as they were going out regardless.

My assumption would be that they know nobody is going to pay these demands, and that's why the next round of letters were already in waiting. Trethowans are not interested in replying to any dispute, not unless West 28th get their cheque book out, and that doesn't look like it's happened yet.

Question - If they now issue a claim, I assume the claim to the court would need to be signed (on paper or digitally) by an individual as well as the statement of truth, and not just "Trethowans LLP" ?

You mean we will finally have a name to whom we can assign costs too?!! :)

:)

Well it's certainly easier to direct disputes etc at an individual than a random anonymous mailbox.

Just think, they're pursuing people for millions of pounds, yet they think a generic anonymous mailbox is the most professional way to go about it. Says all you need to know about Trethowans as a company I guess.

Indeed - I thought that we already had a final demand a few weeks ago. The next thing I was expecting was a court summons, not a “Final, Final Demand”.

Whopper Street originally sent me a letter stating all the interest that was historically calculated was inaccurate making the alleged loans unenforceable and have now provided corrective interest statements to make it enforceable.

They then sent a letter asking me to repay the alleged loans with the exact interest calculation they had previously written to me about and said was inaccurate ,making the debt unenforceable.

Then lands a letter of claim telling me the loans were never enforceable due to regulation but I can make a voluntary payment ... guess what ... the interest calculation on the loans that are unenforceable is still incorrect!

FML this is what you're dealing with ... utter balloon knots who couldn't run a bath!

It’s that’s the case were this to go to court I would just reference the first document where they said the loan was unenforceable
