Thanks all for your advice and wisdom. I have definitely come attached to this inside gig. I was hanging on as it's a decent rate but no point as you have been saying it's ridiculous now my health is suffering.
Ironically the old software is still gartner leader just used for the wrong use case...
Hi
Just looking for some thoughts.
I've been with a large financial company for several years on a very high earning contract.
However, we are now migrating off the tool I specialise in and I'm not included in the new system.
The existing tool is deemed the root of all evils so the job is...

I'm in similar situation. I was under the impression that TRM loans were written off when they move to Cherrylon.
I paid an amount to HMRC 2008/2009 under duress where the year was under investigation. I was wondering if it is possible to appeal this ?

I spoke to HMRC who confirmed that I had signed the settlement however, HMRC had not accepted the settlement as they decided to put this on hold and wait for review to be completed. HMRC have told me as the settlement has not been accepted by themselves do nothing until it is now accepted in...
Unfortunately yes to both although I never received when to start paying etc.. I estimate HMRC will owe me money even with the open year. I'll contact my accountant and see if he is willing to advise.
Thanks for advice

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.
I agreed on a settlement plan for 2006 - 2009 years (1 open year) back in October 2019 however, HMRC wrote to me regarding the review taking place so never started making payments.
Since then...
