But that is not what I asked, I asked as why some early loans had been completely written off i.e. pre April 2011. In those written off cases there is no 'loan' whatsoever outstanding and no offer of 'final settlements', they, themselves have written the loans off and sent emails to some members...
Sorry, didn't realise it was a 'screw up', just some sort of change in T&Cs.
My point about FC or another form of them coming back later on for a second helping is valid. PM me if you think the reasons are sensitive, I just want to know if that email 'evidence' will cover people or not down...

By all means use that quote if it helps, I'm sure it would have been sent out to all contractors using Darwin. I have the original, just wouldn't want my name being put up to HMRC in case they wanna try and find another way of charging me!
Here is something else I found in my emails (if your reading this you scumbags I have all correspondence). It was an email sent out in February 2011 before the new tax year for 2011/2012. There was a change or signing of docs which I never completed, since luckily, I smelt a rat and terminated...

Not a clue since these 'loans' had no formal format. My understanding is a loan should have T&Cs such as
1: Interest rates
2: Period of loan and repayment terms
3: Unsecured - generally less than 25k
4: Credit agreement for all of the above laid out and a copy given to the borrower
Not quite...
So if I'm reading that link right, some firms working on behalf of contractors tried to negotiate a settlement which leaves the contractor having to pay up a percentage at best and that the debt is genuine? I do understand that they are helping and may get the so called debt down considerably...
