HMRC enquiry letter for Winchester IQ Contract under section 9a

Hi, I received the same letter now for the year 2013-2014. I was with IQ contracts for the year 2013-2014. They gave a deadline to respond with all my payslips and bank statements. CHS advised not to reply back. Please tell me, how did you resolve the problem? Thanks.
