    Newbie question: please be honest!

I know someone who does exactly that. She uses it to travel, volunteer and has had lots of quality time with an assortment of animals :) Realistically, that will be difficult for a newbie to do though. True. Always check that what they've claimed is correct and accurate, get as much detail...

    Is this permanent package irrestible?

Yes, it's all added to the total so there are tax implications which are unfavourable compared to operating through a ltd. company. Thanks, all! I guess it is looking less attractive from a financial perspective than it was initially. That helps put it in perspective.

    Is this permanent package irrestible?

Yes, it's in parts - 1/3 at 2, 3 and 4 or 5 (I can't remember if it's 4 or 5) years. So yes, you'll have to commit for quite a while unless you want to significantly reduce your package.

    Is this permanent package irrestible?

True. The stock only vests after 4 - 5 years, which makes it less appealing despite the dividends that will be accumulated. It's much like delayed gratification, which is a huge part of the package as a whole. Excluding those makes it a lot less appealing, with a basic that is lower than my rate.

    Is this permanent package irrestible?

Bit of both, I think. However, it is a different type of role, a few rungs up. Completely agree. Which is why I'm not too keen on it - I'm not as interested in what the role involves compared to the existing one though can't deny that it is a step up and that might not come by easily if I...

    Is this permanent package irrestible?

That would be the minimum bonus. Also, the other stuff - stock, pension aren't immediately accessible so it might not be signifiantly better financially, compared to contract, initially.

    Is this permanent package irrestible?

Hi, Contracting at 30.30 hourly and according to the calculator, the equivalent permanent salary would be 53835, or 55006 according to another calculator. However, the following permanent role has come up. Salary - 50000 Bonus - 10000 Pension - 4500 Stock - 16000 Car allowance - 5700...
