Tax status of 'gifts' from unmarried partner during unemployment
Thank you. We don't have a joint account as such, hence the transfers between accounts. Probably time to think about doing that - will raise it with him. I thought the 7-year rule might apply but wanted to be sure due to previous not so great experience with HMRC. :tired- tomato

HMRC Enquiry letters on Loans from EBT and other schemes
Unfortunately I can't help but does any one else have any intel on what has happened to Bedouin/Redstone? Herbie in my experience they are no help at all with these kind of enquries and I wouldn't rely on them, that is even if you can track them down, which I have so far been unable to do...- tomato
