Is public liability insurance mandatory ?
More and more jobs I get now insist on seeing my public liability insurance. It's not mandatory but I'd lose half my jobs if I didn't have it. I would also say that a lot of them are now asking that I have £5million cover as well. At first I thought it was ridiculous and over the top but I think... -

Professional Indemnity Insurance - but do I need Public Liability too?
Phew! Thought I might have been paying for something I don't need but it seems my broker was right. I suppose regardless of legal or not, everyone should cover all their liability angles in this day and age.- substeve
