    Visual Studio Express - 2008 or 2010?

VS2010 is a very stable product so I would imagine the Express Version is too, so try to go with the latest where possible. The Express versions have a lot taken out so I would be very surprised if it ran like a 'dog' on reasonable hardware. The limitations are testing and debugging tools etc...

Hi, I have the following error when trying to set code coverage on VS2010: Cannot find any coverage data (.coverage or .coveragexml) files. Check test run details for possible errors. I have done numerous searches on the Web and followed all instructions yet still get the above error. I...

New Gig and short Bench Time

Well, I'm a happy man :happy. Last project I was working on got cancelled so us contractors were out the door last Friday, but... secured a new contract today, I expected to be on the bench longer. Less daily rate but longer term and so I guess I'm very lucky in this climate.

You land on your feet and then....

Thanks all, I let the Agency know and first thing they said, send an updated CV to us, include Company A on CV as they are Microsoft Gold Partner / Regional etc and they only recruit "talented individuals" etc. Blah, blah... But all credit, from interview stage until this day, I will praise...

B*gger, you land on your feet and then the rug gets pulled. Landed a nice, local contract, five weeks in and then, whoosh, client we're developing for goes into administration, owing software house 300K, and then bye bye contractors, ah well bench time again and start looking. 20 Permies at...

    Spring.Net Framework

Hi, Has anybody got experience in this, IoV/DI. I've been tasked with replacing some XML with bootstrap code using Spring, as the client wants to Obfuscate code but the obfuscation software renames the public methods and therefore IoV in the XML will not correlate to the methods. I dont how...
