maybe talking to the agent rather than dealing by email would be quicker.
It's easy to fob you off with stock responses by email, but a bit harder when you answer the above statement with "they've already agreed to it".
I think that's both offensive and lazy.
Attacking anybody whose opinion differs from yours by suggesting they are an agent seems like a diversionary tactic.
Suggesting you've read my posting history and it points to me being an agent is ludicrous. I suppose I'm an agent who uses SJD...
If you believe the agencies get money for doing not a lot, then why don't you become an agent and undercut them, making slightly less than them for doing "not a lot".
PS - what do you want out of this? Legislation to fix/limit the margins of agencies? or just to force them to tell you.
Or is...
So just as your professional indemnity insurance runs out you go and do something unprofessional.
It's so hard on this board to tell when people are genuinely doing dodgy things and when they are just winding people up for asking the wrong questions.
Tried Mesh, file sync stuff is absolutley great.
Its RDP is nice and easy to use, but not so great at update speeds, haven#t been able to alter options on it yet either.
Also seems to require the user to be logged in, so no use connecting to a remote machine which has just rebooted due to MS...
yep, as when connected between 2 pcs inside a LAN you get LAN speeds of connection.
Logmein is good as it is web based and gets past most firewall blocks, but it is almost unusable with low bandwidth.
RAdmin is much better at low bandwidth handling, it seems to need to transmit a lot less data...
I know quite a few people who have done this, most of them were reasonably good test managers and absolutely awful project managers.
I think they got the gigs because they were cheaper than the available project managers.
YMMV.
