European court cases on BN66
European court cases on BN66
Hi all,
I remember Montpelier had a BN66 case based on human rights heard by the ECHR and lost it.
I wonder what happened to all the other cases that have been put forward such as KPMG / Steed .. does anyone have any knowledge or...
The APNs dont include any interest. They are the nominal amounts you owe. Trust that you will get charged interest later.
Re the other questions - it is still early stages with MP interactions. Try your luck.
What a mess this all is ...
The loan repayment is a different thing - but not complying probably led to the same detrimental effect.
They sent out "retrospective" made-up invoices after the first batch of Montpelier APNs were withdrawn and asked people to pay up out of the blue - even though it clearly was someone else's...
I'm disappointed in HMRC. Halloween? I'm used to getting my brown love letters just in time before Christmas. Looks like Santa came early this year and I really am going to miss my Xmas surprise from Gauke and co :) ... I deliberately chose not to be part of TAA as I didn't anticipate the...
I have signed a very real loan agreement. I am also facing a very real and substantial loan repayment demand.
So yes, that loan is damn legitimate. Would HMRC please take note of that?
As said .. I'd be ok with the trust thing. I just can't pay the sum asked. Will see if we can stretch it out to 50 installments instead of 10 :)

It's the amount that is the dealbreaker. I am in the "close to 60k" demand range - and I just can't do it.
If it was only around the lower 5 figures like some others I would actually pay up. I am still doubting that Montpelier who have fought our case with BN66 for years (even though there was...
An invitation from HMRC
An invitation from HMRC
I have received a letter from HMRC stating that my APN has been withdrawn :)
There is the following statement in it:
"In the light of the above case law, all of which has gone in favour of HMRC, you should now decide whether it is time to put...
Huitson appeal lost
Huitson appeal lost
Hello all,
for those who don't get NTRT newsletters .. the Huitson appeal has been lost.
Details of judgement:

I wonder if instead of APNs HMRC could now proceed to issue...
I just wanted to give my current feelings regarding our situation.
I have not joined TAA for personal reasons, same as a few others (the minority) on here. Whilst this forum gave great comfort during very bad times it did get flooded with posts at times that were rather irrelevant. It made for...
A no vote ..
A no vote ..
I am an - and have been - an NTRT member for many years and am affected by the same stress as everyone else here.
I won't be able to use the TAA argument as it might affect my future position and hence have voted 'No'.
For those fellows who are able to use this...
