If I understand correctly, the company's turnover doesn't matter? It's only the amount that the "worker" was paid (salary and dividends).
Do you guys interpret the same? If so, why even mention VAT?
Or it could be something else:
- Boox is now down, not serving customers
- I'm not sure if old customers can access their accounts in the Boox app
- If affected clients can't access their accounts, they may not be able to provide the information HMRC is demanding
- HMRC can use this as a...
It doesn't make much sense... why would they send a letter to find out exact numbers if they are busy preparing the test cases? Did you get confirmation that your case is being stood up? Because maybe it's gone through a different route...
Has anyone else received a letter asking for these numbers?
Received a letter about the current status of things: instead of 5, there will be 1 single lead case
For those who appealed and got the charges stood over, and are still happy to continue with this position, I think there is nothing to do. To me, it looked like it was just a status-update...

Yes, someone shared a link previously explaining how we almost have no other option.
On the other hand, I find it unfairly convenient for HMRC and contradictory that, as directors of our companies, we are the ones who will take the decision to agree/disagree with the Standstill Agreement...
As this thread seems to be cooling down and losing momentum, I wanted to raise this issue and ask for any suggestions on how to help/guide each other going forward. Understandibly, there is a private forum by Churchill Knight and they don't want their content to be shared here.
I'd like to ask...
The companies that have been removed... do you know anything about them? Just trying to find out what makes HMRC consider what companies are still MSCs.
Where thhe article says:
I think this is the only wrong bit I see in the article. My understanding (also from previous posts in this thread) is that the PAYE and NIC is levied on income earned by the contractor, not by the business.
Unless I'm missing something of course, but I really hope...
