Today’s Moneybox on Radio 4 had Javid suggesting he would review the rollout of IR35 in the private sector in the event of a Tory win.
It’s about 5 minutes in to the show.
Maybe not, but this isn't my argument. If the client, who is making the IR35 assessment, suggests it might influence their assessment then it's easier to go along with a fairly simple request than argue with them.
How is it a waste of time if my client requests it and they have said they will take it into account?
Might be a waste of time for you and your client.
Those QDOS contracts are showing me what to look for in a contract I sign with an agency: that's not what I'm after.
As part of my box of evidence that I am outside IR35, I want to have a B2B legal agreement/contract with a few friends of mine who are also ltd company contractors with similar...
Were you actually after contracts that your own limited company could use to engage a substitute?
If you were - that's what I'm looking for as well. Considering approaching a contract lawyer to get some but if there are any templates that would be useful.
I go through an MSP to get to my client. The MSP have about 1000 consultants, half of which are contractors. They've been pretty good, they're using some third party consultants to go through every role they have filled by contractors, and judging each on a case-by-case basis. I don't think...

Sounds like it's not a consistent policy though - don't know if that's worse or better.
I got an answer about this in the end - you're right my accountant was partially incorrect about this.
Any interest payment does come off your CT bill from the following year no matter how small.
However, if you accrue interest below a certain amount, and then DO NOT reduce your CT payment by...
That's exactly what I asked my accountant - why doesn't it just roll forward... But no, less than a certain amount and it is written off / stolen.
However, this thread has finally pushed me into action to open an Aldermore account so that's a result.
Nope course it's not worth worrying about in terms of the value - HMRC just hack me off with this behaviour. You can be sure if I owed *them* interest, no matter how low the value, they'd be onto me.
They did it to me a couple of years ago with a paterntity leave credit which they refused to...
Last year when I got my CT bill, my accountant put a note on the payment to the effect that if you paid the CT before the due date, HMRC will pay you interest of 0.5% until the due date.
Given that's a better rate than the standard CA interest rate I thought "why not".
This year when I got my...
