Do men really think women look better without any make-up?
I use a bit of makeup but I don't think I'm an absolute horror without it, I just like wearing it. Essex girls look like trannies when you see them in real life. Quiet periods during the year - January too?
Would there be a possibility of an extension after December? I wouldn’t not take a contract just because it ends in January as it's not the only quiet period throughout the year for recruiting so as long as you have enough cash to keep you going for a few weeks in January you should be fine. Hey there, From my limited knowledge, a lot of companies now have a Preferred Supplier List (PSL) to stop them getting bombarded by different agencies. Dress code
I like to wear a full on 80's power suit with shoulder pads so huge that I have to turn sideways to get though doors (even double doors). I find that this helps me to be taken seriously whilst also standing out from the crowd.- Purple

What's the longest you've gone without taking a day off?
I take holidays when I want to - I think that not having to consult some chart to see how many days annual leave I have left is one of the perks of being a contractor. But everyone is different - I don't have any kids to pay for... -

Post client interview behaviour - email follow up/linkedin request?
Ew, a thank you letter to the interviewer would be a big no in my book. Does anyone actually do this? Checking on LinkedIn is ok but I wouldn't send a connect request until you know the outcome of the interview, I think it is a bit stalkerish and needy.- Purple

I used to work in recruitment about 10 years ago (don't hate me, it was RPO not agency) when LinkedIn was fairly new and I used it to find candidates for roles so some of the requests may be genuine.
