Dividends and UK residency
Simple question really. Having spent few years in UK I’m about to leave for good and need to take care of the sum sitting in the company bank account. What to do if you are currently with a Composite or Managed Company.
So if I'd start a limited co. business with 2 more people, having 20% of the shares and not beeing the director, the company couldn't claim expenses incured by me working full time for the customer, because I'm not in the control of the company? VAT registration
So would I invoice £1000 and no VAT on the first invoice, later send the same again with +£175 VAT?? :eek: Btw. if I buy goods for £1175 incl VAT, then become VAT registered, then sell the goods for £2000+350 VAT; do I need to pay £350 to Gordon, but can't claim the £175 back??- punkie

I've just got my new LTD registered. Have been with a brolly until now. Here's the newbie question: What are the actual advantages of getting VAT registered immediately, before I hit the treshold?
