Higher tax band if timesheets not approved on time

Thanks all. The agency does have the correct tax code (though there is the W1 at the end, for the emergency one). They told me I was on the higher band because I received 4 weeks of salary as one payment. It was the first payment I receive as a new contractor so maybe they started the payroll...

Higher tax band if timesheets not approved on time

Thanks for your answer. I guess I wasn't clear. I agree on all the stuff regarding that IR35 thing. But regarding the payment, I understand I was paid only when the timesheets were approved. But the issue is that the agency put me on the higher tax band because they paid me the 4 weeks of work...

Accounting Period for Corporate Tax on HMRC online

I have no accountant (which I understand is a bad thing usually). But if anyone is managing their own accounting and had the similar issue, please let me know. For a basic contractor, the accounting part is not that hard once you look into it but I find the HMRC tools to not be always...

Accounting Period for Corporate Tax on HMRC online

Hi, I set up a new limited company on 30 June 2018. So I had to submit my first Corporate Tax Return (CT600) at the beginning of this year 2020. This covered the period 30 June 2018 - 30 June 2019. The status of the submission is "submission complete" but when I click on it it says...
