What about the effect of wind resistance on the train?
What if there was a very strong wind blowing in the opposite direction to that which the train is travelling? Would you not agree that if the wind was strong enough the train would stop moving forward and actually come to a standstill...
Only to people who struggle with the English language.
Everybody but you resolved this thing days ago. All there is left now is to drag you kicking and screaming up to speed with the rest of the world.
It would be quicker and easier if you read and understood the recent previous posts explaining to you in simple terms how your shapes cannot be rearranged into another triangle but don't let logic get in the way of your ongoing public humiliation.
Excellent.
I was referring DIMWIT to the fact that your excruciatingly pointless and anal calculations do not even add up to the area of the triangle.
All you proved with your idiot calculations is that...
1. You can't add up
2. You proved your OWN assertion that the shapes can be...
In other words the area of the shapes that make up your triangle is less than the area of the triangle?
A Nobel prize is surely forthcoming.
As a rule mathematical 'proofs' don't involve statements like "the figures very nearly add up therefore we can assume they are correct".
Also, dimwit...
Not everyone has difficulty raising their income and generating wealth and most of us wouldn't consider fleeing the country in the face of our inability to do so.
Your figures are obviously incorrect! LOL
For instance, please explain how you got the figure of 7.3845(?) for the area of the orange shape (other than subtracting your other calculations from 32.5 in an effort to make things add up)?
Using your (incorrect) measurements you have in fact shown...
Congratulations - you have transcended the laws of geometry. Boy is my face red.
Oh wait. No you haven't - you're just talking out of your arse.
Why don't you print the shape off on a piece of paper and have a go?
When you have realised your mistake you can come back here and have another...
Yes it is. This has been explained numerous times to you. Most of us learn how to calculate area in junior school. Were you by any chance a 'special needs' child? If so I apologise for taking things too fast for you.
No it doesn't. It shows you how the two 'overall' shapes are different...
Incredible. You still believe that to be true don't you? Even with a nice animated graphic showing you how wrong you are?
Hello? Anybody in there?
The actual text from the explanation is "The green one is 1 square taller than the red. To be similar, it would need to be 7·5 squares long -...
Insulting dialogue?
Yes you've tried and tried but it doesn't mean you're right.
Maybe listening to what people tell you is the way forward.
Anyway, here is an explanation involving pretty pictures which you might find easier to understand:

Funny man. Its not me trying change the subject is it?
Come on, have you worked out where you went wrong or will you drag this down into a discussion about typos?
