2 year rule
Never considered the 40% aspect before - and it's killing my few remaining brain cells to factor that in... Closing ltd company, questions regarding capital distribution and CGT
When you have closed the company and taken your funds out though - if you have taken a nice big wedge out does that get counted as income and catapult you over the 40% threshold so additional tax is incurred? If a contract is deemed inside IR35 after a HMRC review and there is a tax payment due, does the amount of corporation tax paid during the company year get taken into consideration?
