I am considering going perm, and so interested in this comment. If I leave the company dormant, would i need to also keep public indemnity and IPSE membership etc running in case an old client had a problem with something that was done under an old contract, or HMRC wanted to investigate IR35...
I read the word estimated, but I interpreted it as 'expected'. i.e. I felt there was risk that the client would then be within their rights to expect that many hours per day and then say 'well we did tell you this is how many hours we estimated you'd need to do in the contract' ... and then...
How about trying to get some experience in blockchain (so implementation rather than specific language) - this seems to be at very early adoption stages at the moment, so you'll be in at the start of something if it takes off.

Hi,
About to embark on my first contract after many years as a perm. The role is in IT at a bank, but after getting through the interviews and agreeing the day rate, I have been put in touch with one of the banks PSL consultancies for onboarding. The initial contract they have supplied...
Agree that there is a distinction between Scrum Master and PM - worth reading the guide on scrum.org, IIRC they think PM is not a role in scrum, so potentially conflicting with the notion that an 'Agile PM' course even exists. Would recommend having a think about whether you want to be a PM or a...
