I'm happy with it though. It's an increase on an already decent rate and on a great project/tech and perfect location so works for me. I'm pretty sure I couldn't get much more from them, and it's better than any alternative I can see at present.
I am concerned. However, given that I've had over a month between contract start and end date, and the new contract is a new contract with a different agency, and the old one got contract and working practices reviewed and signed off by client as being outside - I'm hoping that's enough to make...
Last contract ended in March. It was outside IR35 (contract and working practices reviewed and signed off).
Having a gap of a month (while they were figuring things out) and now going back to same client in May. Different agent, different contract and inside IR35.

Well - in my particular circumstances the location and company suit my current needs perfectly. On top I've managed to secure a rate increase (although to be fair - this wasn't a deal breaker given the other benefits).
I never tried pushing back on the decision, but I've been aware of the...
Hi - thanks for your suggestion. I'm still undecided about whether to use a brolly or stick with my limited (my accountant runs a PAYE scheme for me). I've never operated inside IR35 before so it's a bit of a learning curve.
If I did go brolly, closing down the company seems a bit extreme -...
Hi All,
Long time lurker, first time poster (please be gentle)..
I just wanted your good people’s thoughts on my particular situation with regard to this whole public sector debacle (I was going to post in the Staying In Public Sector thread - but thought I'd start a new one as that is getting...
