In my case, non-pension income will use up the tax free allowance. The 20% I stated is on 75% of the pension after deducting 25% tax free amount - effectively 15%. Similarly, I’ve factored in paying full employers & employees NI as current salary (post sacrifice) is already over the allowance/...
I’m also with Paysteam, they deduct salary sacrifice weekly (cost £6) but pay into pension monthly, in arrears, on the 19th - this may make it more difficult to time suppressing timesheets. Paystream allow the contribution amount to be changed at renewal or new tax year and will stop if asked...

I’ve been @ Hsbc 1 week short of 6 mths and taken 3 non billable days out excl bank holidays. Contract via Reed, no terms in re max number of days to bill.
I have 2 business accounts with them - an instant access and a 1 yr fix. The monthly income covers my accountancy fee at SJD, so worth it for me. I’ll likely route some remaining funds into their new 1.85% 1 yr fix as that’s a reasonably good rate for a 1 yr deal. Not sure if theyre still...
Rate switching is also an option - this doesn't involve a review of your credit position. Often lenders will contact you a few months ahead of your rate end date to offer you the current deals.
