    Home surveillance cameras

Sounds like a load of needless dick swinging.

    Diary App for Windows

I use something called RedNotebook. It's essentially a diary type piece of software. Stores in text files, really easy to backup/transfer elsewhere etc. Has a keyword search feature so going back to find stuff is really easy. I'm a network engineer & any configuration changes I make to...

Vector Resourcing - Contract terms raise red flags- has anyone experience with them

I've recently just finished a contract with Vector and these are without a doubt one of the worst agencies I've had the misfortune of using. So far as to say, I would go out of my way to not apply for a role if it was advertised through these. I would imagine a thorough review of their accounts...

Online red & blue attack/defense simulations

Have you checked out https://www.vulnhub.com? Not full on networks but vulnerable OS builds for you break in to? You could learn to exploit them and then learn to secure them and try again...

Agency not happy with my linkedin status

Wow - you're a bit of a helmet, but for the purposes of setting the record straight. See below. That's not a contractor engagement then, you would in fact be 'employed'. Why is not the smartest of moves? I work for my main client for approx 37 hours a week - that leaves me with evenings and...

    Kali Linux

This is something I'm in the process of moving towards, having done plenty of networking and network security in my career. I can only see the demand for this type of thing getting bigger and bigger. I've used Kali for a few years for various basic tasks, like vulnerabilty scans, etc but I'm in...

Lorien contracts and IR35 at a well known bank.

    Most of it drivel, too.

Lorien contracts and IR35 at a well known bank.

Yes. Start time, lunch time, finish time. Holiday entitlement, sickness procedure, time off in lieu. It was basically an 'employee handbook'. If you're a contractor and you would sign and agree to sign such a document, then you're a bit of a helmet really.

Lorien contracts and IR35 at a well known bank.

I currently contract through Lorien and the contract they first issued me was laughable. More than 50% of it originally included documents which would only ever be given to a permie during their induction. I had it all removed, etc prior to starting. The biggest laugh was half the people I'm...

    efen drivers

I'm driving a mapped 335d xD cause of the mileage I'm doing, so about c. 370ps with decent fuel consumption... xD is worth it for the extra grip in the poor weather, of which I get plenty of living up norf. When I'm doing less miles, I really fancy the new M5, which comes with xD... if...

    efen drivers

They should have bought an x-drive model instead of a poor mans version. I've never had any problems in mine, going up inclines or otherwise.

    Cloud Contact Centre Solutions

Tbh, call recording & CRM integration are usually classed as premium features in telephony. Gamma Horizon do a hosted telephony platform, but not sure of pricing but could be worth a look? Mitel will definitely do what you want, but I would expect these to be more expensive.
