GDPR - are you getting emails from recruitment agencies?
I've fired my first SAR today at a recruitment agency who emailed me about "catching up". The information they held states that they've acquired my data through Monster - for which I've never registered. Should I consider reporting them to the ICO? Tempted just to give them some payback- luki

thanks both, all valid points! I'm indeed "on a day rate to work on something rather than having agreed a set piece of work" - (b) not being paid for my time off I am obviously fine with it, but because there is not clear definition of deliverables - (a) seemed to be too vague. I've sent the contract for review with QDOS Consulting (my insurer) but there was no feedback on that clause - only other parts that fail with regards to ir35. I'm mostly concerned by 7.1 as it sounds to me that if we don't hit a deadline it might be easy for them to blame it on me for any...- luki

daily rate agreed in email correspondence(outside contract) - does it have any value?
I've invoiced for the first six weeks at £300 + additional VAT and that was paid. No problem with that. Things are not edgy (yet, and I hope the won't get). I agree on the previous advice that in business there are no friends, but things are not that bad - I am pretty sure we will solve it...- luki

it's not an extension. the contract is 12 weeks, the email agreement was £300 for the first 6 weeks, market rates for the remaining 6 weeks. we are just at the beginning of the 7th week- luki

I was expecting £50/70 more, there is previous correspondence where I state my daily rate, and their counter offer was £300 for the first 6 weeks. Theoretically, 350/370 is what could be inferred as the "market rate", but again in up to interpretation of emails- luki
